Had avg 7.5 free, for long time, very good, had no problems at all

Corrupt file. My computer has run out of memory so I tried removing AVG and put it on the d drive. Now I cannot install or uninstall it and it says a file is corrupted. So now I have no AV program. Since I have only 300 MEGS left out of 10 GIG of hard drive I cannot put anything else there. I guess just have to get a true geek to upgrade my HD. HELP

This is not reallay a review and is only an information that it could not be opened for it was not installed properly. The reason may be other interfering sites that constantly annoy and frustrate to download anything useful from internet. A day may not be far off to stop using Internet for usefull and good things, from individuals, with these troubles from interferences.

Not bad but some false alarms as in my computer (Acer) discovered all games.ex in game consol originaly loaded by company as a treat. I used before Avast and AVG ( laso fer software) without this problem, any now still keeping Comodo.

Works Great for Me I got Cyberdefender, and it worked great as a free scanner with spyware and trojan removal. If it finds a virus, you need the upgrade, which I got since I liked the speed and user interface of the scanner. The Cyberdefender anti-virus works great, and the paid version I got also came with 24/7 computer help line with my wife found helpful while I was away. I found out Cyberdefender is a NASDAQ campany and they have a great product.

Thanks for Cyber Defender Free My wife's computer was corrupted by a virus Malware program named av2009 which gained almost total control of her computer and would not be controlled nor would it allow itself to be deleted.After downloading CyberDefender Free and allowing it to work, it appears that av2009 has been successfully controlled and eliminated from the computer, except for a copy of it in the Recycle Bin. I got the W32.Gamma virus on a flash drive while traveling in China, and spread it from my laptop to my home system cy8-rm00z. Good but... Very close to providing what I need, aside from three problems. First, I'm not sure I like that you need to specify what windows *not* to hide. There are waaaaay too many of those in my case; I would prefer to specify the 2 or 3 windows I *do* want to hide. Second, the "free" version comes with a lot of features disabled until you pay.
